Appearance:

 

    Paulz is a butter yellow mixed dachshund-Charles Spaniel with light cream-peach fur on his mouth-area, neck, chest and belly with pure blue eyes. He has brown fur on his floppy ears, fingers and toes. He has black paw pads on his feet. He wears a white t-shirt under his green t-shirt jacket with blue shorts and a pair of low-top red Chuck Taylor’s sneakers. 

 

 

Personality:

    Paulz is very delightful and friendly and likes to give hugs to others especially his mother and his brother Yohz. He’s very playful whenever he hangs with Yohz and Slammer to play video games. He tends to show some of his soccer tricks whenever he’s outside playing with his friends from school. Paulz is very caring and helpful to others when someone needs assistance. When Yohz accidentally drop something on the floor, Paulz pick it up and gives it back to him. Paulz usually likes to help out with his mother and any kids younger then him.  Paulz is very talkative at times when being ask a question or explain details on how are going when cause people to ignore him and walks away from him. Paulz usually spits when he talks at certain words which contains letters like b,c,d,k,p,s,t,w, and z. Due to the fact that Paulz spit when he talks, anytime he spend an hour talking, he flooded the whole room. Paulz doesn’t know how to take his shoes and socks off or put them back on himself. He let someone else like Yohz, his mother or even Slammer do it for him.  He sometimes giggles a little when someone take his socks off for him.  Paulz is quite greedy whenever it’s time to eat. He tend to consume 10 hotdogs, 6 pack of french fries, and 4 drinks a day.

 

Background 

    Paulz use to live with his biological rich parents in a mansion which is located in the suburbs of Chicago. His billionaire father was never interested in having a child and never bothered to take care of him. When his mother passed away, Paulz’s father abandoned him by kicking him out into the streets of the downtown area. He was left homeless, begging for food and trying to find a place to stay until a retired soccer school coach name Antione Karkons came across him. He brought Paulz inside his apartment and took good care of him. Few weeks later, Paulz and Antione, move out of Chicago and relocated to Longest Clark which is the northern suburbs of Turtlehills. During that time Antione was teaching Paulz some tricks in soccer until he felt ill. While he was laying in bed feeling real sick, Antione let Paulz have his soccer ball. After he died, Paulz was transported to a foster home located near a bus stop on the main street of Longest Clark. At the foster home, there were kids making funs of him because of his habits such as spitting while talking. The staff mistreated him like they never bothered to make sure he is well fed. When the foster home building got caught on fire from a lightning strike, all the foster kids had to evacuate, Paulz ran away with his soccer ball and heading towards the residential area while it’s raining. When Paulz approaches the other bus stop, sat on the ground  inside the booth to stay out of the rain until an out of service bus arrives at the stop. A bus driver name Sabrina Haven notices him sitting on the dirty cement at the corner of the booth crying and offered a ride home. Paulz took a ride on the bus with her to head to her house. On the next day after explaining everything he gone through, Sabrina decided to adopt Paulz which he’s now part of the Havens family. Paulz has never been so happy ever since his mother died and his father abandoned him. He’s so glad that he’s part of a new family and got a brother who he can play with.

 

 

Relationship 

 

Yohz

 

    Paulz always felt proud to have a brother to play with like Yohz. He tries to get Yohz to play soccer with him when he’s not playing video games. He always likes to show Yohz some cool tricks with his soccer ball. Sometimes, he likes to tease with Yohz such as scaring him, tickling him or distract him with a feather.  Paulz does sometimes gets frightened by Yohz anytime he sees him gets angry such as slapping a game controller out of his hands or yelling at him. Paulz also finds Yohz as his biggest hero whenever he’s gets bullied by Divslanger, being mistreated by Apples while babysitting or when Slammer takes his soccer ball away from him. Paulz always likes having Yohz removing his red Chucks Taylor’s shoes and socks for him. This is because Paulz never knew how to do it himself.

 

Sabrina 

    

    Paulz has always been so loyalty to her ever since he became part of the Havens family.

Paulz thinks Sabrina is just as supportive mother just like his biological mother because the way she takes care of him such as feeding him, washing him and giving him a goodnight kiss. If anything goes wrong with Yohz and Tim, he would tell her about it and she’ll handle it immediately. In most cases, he usually sits next to her on the couch to watch TV but, suddenly falls asleep on her lap. Whenever Tim is around, he wants go with her because he scared of him due his behavior. 

 

 

 

Tim

    Paulz is afraid of Tim because of his ruthless behavior, his bad temper and the way he snaps at him and the way he mistreated him. He doesn’t see him very often due to his absences but, whenever Tim shows up at the house, Paulz hinds in the closet. He thinks Tim is just as bad as his biological father because when Tim sees Paulz, he being told to stay outside of the house whenever Yohz or the mother is not around. Anytime Paulz asks him a question while the mother is around, Tim says is to him “I’m not talking to you.” Paulz feels alienated by Tim even when Yohz is around such as not allowing him eat anything from the refrigerator, forcing him sleep on the floor in the bathroom. Paulz will only feel comfortable when the mother is around.

 

Cornelius 

 

    Paulz couldn’t understand what Cornelius is saying in his accent whenever he speaks. He has to ask him repeat to same sentence hundreds of times. This is why he doesn’t communicate with him very often. Paulz gets pretty curious about Cornelius’s artworks, especially when he sees him painting on a canvas outside his apartment. Paulz knows how frighten Cornelius is so he tend to tease with him for fun such as scaring him with pranks or place a feather between his foot and his sandals which could tickle him. At times, Paulz walks by and tickles Cornelius on his torso area and walks away whenever he sees him concentrating on his artwork. Sometimes, he tells Cornelius that everything is okay and there’s nothing to be afraid.

 

Mykel

 

    Paulz doesn’t really like Mykel because of his grumpy behavior and the way he snaps at him. Usually it’s hard for Paulz to feel comfortable playing with him due to his serious behavior. When Paulz hands one of the books to Mykel, he snatches it from him which scares him a little. However, Paulz do see some kindness from him and learns a lot from him. Sometimes he being helped by Mykel such as wiping spit off his mouth. Paulz even likes to sit next to him to play some board games and to read him a story.

 

Slammer

 

    Paulz doesn’t see Slammer that often but he likes it when he calls him Soccer Pup. This is because Paulz always shows him some tricks with his soccer ball outside. Paulz and Slammer suddenly started playing soccer together at a field. Paulz does get mad at him for taking his ball and walks away it but then he gets it back after using the word “Please”. This loses his interest in playing with Slammer because of the way he teases him. Anytime he does see Slammer, he would only say “hey” to him but don’t want to play with him. Sometimes, he would only show Slammer some tricks when Yohz is around just to make sure he doesn’t take his soccer ball away from him.

 

Elisabeth 

 

    Paulz always thinks about his biological mother all night. He always dream about her which causes him to cry every night because he always been so close to her. Paulz remembers how she always been so supportive, kind and caring to him which is why he loved her and missed her so much and he has a picture of her in his t-shirt jacket pocket.

 

Sam

 

    Paulz have no respect for his biological father especially when he kicked him out on the curb and left him homeless in the middle of downtown Chicago. Before he abandoned him, his father never bothered to take care of him, feed him anything or even spoke to him. Paulz find him very selfish and care so much about the money and his business. Anytime he ask him a question, Sam ignores it. He sees that Sam never looks at him in the eye ever since he knew him. Paulz finds him very selfish, and disgraceful biological father because he never cares about him.

 

Apples

 

    Paulz always have troubles babysitting Apples because of the way she mistreated him. Whenever Paulz tries to give her food, she snatches it from him and eats it quickly. When Paulz tries to control her, he suddenly get attack by her with all the tools which causes him to run from her. Anytime Paulz tries to escape from her, Apples threatens to call the police, or chase him down and tie him up with a belt and takes his shoes off. Sometimes he managed to escape the house without her notice to find Yohz or Mykel to untie him. Whenever Apples falls asleep, Paulz sneaks away from her to a different room.

 

Sara

    Paulz could barely remember his aunt Sara from Chicago on his biological mother side of the family. He still have a picture of her and his biological mother in his t-shirt jacket pocket. He haven’t seen her since his biological father abandoned him in the city.

 

Olivia 

 

    Olivia is one of Paulz’s classmates and apparently he doesn’t really speak or pay much attention to her at all. However he does listens to her sometimes and takes her advice when it comes to having trouble with his father and babysitting Apples. 

 

Will and Alex

 

    Will and Alex is Paulz’s close friends from school. He always plays soccer with them during free time outside and share there secrets during lunchtime.
